Darla Jones - Executive Director

Darla Jones is the Executive Director of Marsha’s Place. Darla received her BS in Theatre Arts from the University of Southern Indiana in 2010. Darla has served at Marsha’s Place in multiple roles for more than 20 years and has served as Executive Director since 2013. She is the proud mother of 3 strong daughters, age 18, 16 and 10 who are destined to change the world, whether it likes it or not. Darla and her husband minister in their local and area churches in preaching, music and drama. They share a commitment to their community, serving on various community and political committees, and a passion for building strong families, marriages and relationships, devoting their extra time and energies to teaching workshops on relationship skills and leading couples through pre-marital counseling.

Betsy Ray - Client Services Director

Betsy Ray received her bachelor’s degree in social work in 2014 and has served at Marsha’s Place as Client’s Services Director and educator since 2006. She has a passion for working with and restoring broken lives through ministering, educating and counseling. She has been connected to Marsha’s Place since 1996 and has been committed to serving in this ministry. She is joyfully married to Keith and together they have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

Amanda Miller - Development Associate

Amanda Miller serves as Development Associate. She joined the team in June 2017 after being involved as a volunteer for 2 years. Amanda graduated from Henderson Community College with a Associates in Arts degree. A “boy mom” of 3 which means her life consists of superhero movies, bear hugs, and practical jokes. She and her husband, Jacob, of 15 years are active members of One Life Church Henderson campus where together they coordinate lights and graphics for the worship band Road 2 Zion as well as leading a growth group where they are passionate about serving the local community by completing multiple construction projects for families on the East End of Henderson.

Cynthia Nunn, RN - Nurse Manager

Cynthia Nunn, RN, has served as Nurse Manager and a sonographer at Marsha’s Place since 2014. She brings with her 12 years of experience in Obstetrics having served as a labor and delivery nurse at Deaconess Women’s Hospital, Evansville, Indiana. Cynthia earned an Associate Nursing Degree in 2002 from Henderson Community College and completed the National Institute for Family and Life Advocates Limited Obstetric Ultrasound training in 2014. She is a certified Group Fitness Instructor and loves helping people discover their mental and physical strength, personal value and worth. She is the mother of 3 children, Jaxon (the steadfast one), Jacob (the comedian) and Juliet (the sassy one). Cynthia and her husband of 12 years, Ryan, minister at One Life Church’s Henderson Campus, are certified marriage educators and are passionate about helping couples have a healthy marriage.

Holly Brewer, RN - Education Outreach Director & Nurse Sonographer

Holly Brewer, RN, serves in dual roles at Marsha’s Place. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2007 from Henderson Community College. Holly has 5 years of critical care experience including NICU and neuro-ICU, and 4 years of experience in pediatrics. Holly originally connected with the Marsha’s Place team in 2014 as a volunteer nurse sonographer. She uses her gifts in that part-time role to help women see the beauty and worth of the babies in their womb and to know they have the strength to embrace motherhood. Holly also serves as Education Outreach Director leading our team of 10 men and women who help middle school and high school youth adopt healthy relationship ideals and learn boundaries and skills for making integrity-filled choices and achieving their education and personal goals. Holly and her husband Joey have 5 children, Kadence (16), Mallory (14), Lafe (13), Zeke (7) and London (3).

Ashley Overton, RN - Nurse Sonographer

Ashley Overton, RN, has served as a volunteer nurse sonographer for Marsha’s Place since 2013. She received her Associate Nursing Degree in 2012 from Henderson Community College and is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Ashley has 5 years of experience as a Nsy/NICU RN and in 2015 earned the credentials for Certified Lactation Counselor. She has been married to her husband Wes for 5 years and they have 3 children. Dakota (13) who loves everything about farming, Allie (4) who is the prissy lady in the cowgirl boots and tool belt, and Avery (2) who is in perpetual motion since he learned to walk! Ashley is passionate about teaching about the benefits of breastfeeding and helping the women she meets at Marsha’s Place.

Danielle Rhodes, MA CMHC - Counselor

Danielle Rhodes, MA-CMHC has served as a volunteer counselor at Marsha’s Place since the Spring of 2016. She graduated from Denver Seminary, in Littleton, Colorado, with her Masters of Arts in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. She has counseling experienced in significant community mental health issues including: chronic homelessness, youth and child therapy, marriage and family therapy, addictions, and mood disorders, among many others. Danielle and her husband, Jarrod, have been married for 5 years. They have two children: Marshall (4) and Josephine (2).
